Currently serving as the District of Columbia Division Manager for Hermosa Construction Group, Jacquelyn brings 15 years of experience in Construction Management and Development within dynamic global industries. Within those 15 years of experience, Jacquelyn spent the first five as a Project Manager with Motorola’s Semiconductor Division, in Tianjin, China and Phoenix, Arizona, overseeing the new construction and renovation of Manufacturing Facilities, Wafer Labs, Clean Rooms and Offices. The next seven years were spent in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, working as a Project Manager, with local construction giants, SIGAL and Turner, renovating federal and commercial offices, and constructing residential towers. Within the last three years, Jacquelyn worked with District of Columbia Government as a Construction Manager, in the Deputy Mayor’s Office of Planning & Economic Development, where she oversaw the construction of DC’s first waterfront park, community centers and residential housing projects. All these experiences have been instrumental in developing her skill set to ultimately join forces with Hermosa, and lead the company’s DC Division.
Jacquelyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University, and a Masters in Construction Engineering from the Catholic University of America. In addition, Jacquelyn is a Board Member of the Professional Women in Construction, DC Chapter; a Board Member of the African American Real Estate Professionals, DC Chapter, and an active member of the Construction Management Association of America and the District of Columbia Building Industry Association.
