Blue Ridge Community Health Center · New Medical Office Building

Hermosa provided comprehensive program management and was selected to continue on the construction management services for this new medical office building. From the project’s inception through full scale implementation, work included an initial feasibility study to identify and select the appropriate site, concept and program origination, financial modeling, relationship matching with local hospital system and assistance with federal and state funding efforts. Project is to encompass a new 30,000 sf medical facility with cooperative space for the local hospital system as well as demolition and rework of some existing facilities.

Addition and Renovation of the Sandersville Community Health Center

This project consists of constructing a new, 2,400 Sq Ft. addition to the existing Community Health Center. The new addition will add office space, a new waiting area, check-in area and Business Center. After the addition is complete, services will be switched to the new facility and the existing facility will be renovated to create additional exam rooms, procedure room, Lab and Nurse Stations.

Nashville Consolidated Rental Car Facility (CONRAC)

In an effort to upgrade the Nashville International Airport’s existing rental car operations and to make the facility more customer-friendly, the Metro Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) has approved the construction of a new consolidated rental car facility, or CONRAC. Construction on the more than 900,000-square-foot facility began in February 2010, and the projected opening date is November 2011.

CONRAC will be located in the Long Term A lot, adjacent to the existing short-term parking garage. When construction is complete, rental car companies will be relocated from their current locations in the short-term garage and terminal areas to the new facility. This move will free up approximately 600 additional parking spaces in the short-term garage.
The completed facility will include numerous environmentally sustainable features: the use of reclaimed water for washing rental cars, energy-efficient lighting, a lighting-management system to adjust lighting levels based on natural lighting, and a green screen wall covered in vegetation. In addition, the new facility will save approximately 800,000 miles of driving per year and will reduce auto emissions, since rental cars will no longer be sent off-site for servicing and refueling.

Nashville Convention Center | Music City Center

As a result of our successful partnership alliance with Clark Construction and Bell & Associates we were awarded the development of the new Nashville Convention Center, which is also known as the Music City Center.

By teaming with East Tennessee Mechanical, and The Don Harding Group, as the CM Agent, we created a strong minority partnership known as Harmony Construction Group and obtained 20% participation level with Clark Construction and Bell & Associates as the construction manager at risk to complete the project. Hermosa Construction retains a 40% ownership stake in the partnership and will play a leadership role with the DBE management, purchasing and various subcontractor packages.

The new 1,125,000 SF convention center for the City of Nashville, is presently in design. Convention Center includes 350,000 SF exhibit hall/concert hall, 50 meeting rooms, two ballrooms, 36 loading docks, and a green roof. Project is being designed to obtain LEED® NC Silver certification.

Brushy Creek Bridge

This 8a competitive award consists of Sitework, Road and Bridge Construction.
